Plastic is brittle, breaks easily
I wanted this. I really did. You are looking very beautiful. The lids close well, but are difficult to close and open. The plastic is brittle. I've had my set for 2 months and two of them have cracked. My 12 year old was struggling with an impossible latch, dropped one and it literally broke when it hit the floor. If they break, the bottom falls out and spills flour/sugar/whatever all over the kitchen. They are much more fragile than glass. Unfortunately it was a waste of my money and I will have to buy another product to replace this one.
