There is no such thing as "efficient" electric heating. All electric heaters of the same output produce the same amount of heat and consume the same amount of electricity. The heater simply passes current through a resistor and converts that current into heat. A 1500w heater, ten times the size, puts out the same amount of heat as this tiny 1500w heater and uses the same amount of electricity. It has standard safety features like roll-over cut-off. It also has three heat settings, as opposed to the two you'll find on most other models. The thermostat works well which means I can just turn it on and enjoy a constant temperature in my room. Works great with a smart socket as it turns on as soon as it has power - no need to press the power button. Be sure to buy a smart outlet with more than 1500 watts. I use it with HBN Smart Plug Mini and it works like a charm. There is absolutely no reason to spend more on a heater. This is the best heater money can buy.
