I needed a flex shaft tip that would allow me to mount 1/4" tools and here it is. with friction fit. All I had to do was attach the shaft and mounting ring to my Chicago Electric Switching equipment. A bit fiddly but works well. Ultimately, I plan to use it with either the Foredom flex shaft system or the Mastercarver system, although it might be handy to only have it available for the Chicago Electric detail grind. Late note: I see some answers have indicated that no modifications are required to the shaft.Shaft to adapt to the Harbor Freight Tool. For some reason the shaft didn't fit the way it did mine.In any case,it's a great hand tool.Me continue to use this in the port freight tool almost daily.
