Manic Panic dark colors last no more than 2 washes. However, I love that it adds a very subtle tint that often lasts for weeks. I also like that it doesn't damage my hair. Plus, I can leave it on for a few hours and forget about it, and then wash it off when I'm ready. This is a "very gentle" hair color. It also clears the hairline on my skin very easily with hair conditioner if I catch the drops right away. I just take a paper towel soaked in cheap hair conditioner, rub it over my skin like soap, and then rub the color off with a clean paper towel to pick up the excess hair color.
