My last set of trays didn't last very long. The non-stick surface failed too early. This set seems to last a very long time because it's completely different. This simple aluminum bowl with silicone insert is a great idea. The food is prepared on a silicone coating that can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. (Silicone is dishwasher safe, not food. :) And there's no burnt food on the aluminum tray, so it's also easy to clean. I love this combination of plain aluminum and silicone mat. I will never buy Teflon type nonstick pans again.
