I've had battery drain issues when using Oculus Link. Usually battery drain is minimal enough that I can use Quest without worrying about battery life. BUT, when I use Oculus Debug to increase the "Overwrite pixels to display" setting to 1.8 or higher, the battery drains pretty quickly. I was only able to use the headset for about 4 hours or less which was a big disappointment. I wasn't sure if this product would actually help me supercharge my quest quickly AND use my Oculus Link with the increased resolution BUT thankfully I can now increase the resolution to my heart's content and use it for almost as long as I'd like. Without this product my Quest 2 would go from 100% to >50% battery after 2 hours of use (with Link and USB 3.0). Now it only deflates from 100% to >90% in 2 hours of use (set to 1.9 with PPDPO). Expensive but worth it if you don't have a motherboard because you can charge Quest 2 fast!
