It seals this well: It was applied on travertine by a careless person on top of a muddy footprint. I thought, well I'll just take that sealer and the muddy print off, and re-seal. Tried to get the 511 Porous Plus off with wire brush, muriatic acid, and lots of elbow grease. I gave up after 10 minutes. It's that tough.So, be sure your tile and grout are PERFECTLY CLEAN before applying the sealer. And, apply a coat BEFORE the tile is grouted: otherwise, soft tile can absorb grout and haze. Applying 511 Porous Plus before grouting makes for easy grout release. Then seal grout and tile together, as label describes. Great product.
