Review on AmazonBasics Equivalent Non Dimmable Light 2 Pack by Vanessa Knipp

I ordered these lights for use around the house to maintain night vision and improve my sleep patterns as I work nights. When I got these lightbulbs I installed one to see what it looked like. When I turned it on, I noticed that it appears very orange in the light. For comparison, I received a different brand bulb from Bluex on the same order and tried it in the same fixture. This brand of lamp had a much more accurate red light color and appeared brighter in overall performance. I will not order this brand again. Not a bad bulb, just not the true red I was hoping for. As an aside, none of these bulbs are the true dark red that my RGB LED strips under the kitchen cabinet are. These lights produce a very deep, clear crimson color, if any light can be described as dark. I know I can switch colors in these bands of light, and even switching to red from night vision, which stays green, I really feel like my eyes relax. I think for my purposes I'll take a few more strip lights and use them where I can. But for the dots I can't find any way to set the light strip, red bulbs might work. Update, I bought some highly rated RGB LED bulbs that can dim, change color and do many other effects with a remote control. These bulbs are a much truer red and can be just about any other color in the rainbow as well. A much better route if you want red or green bulbs, or bulbs of a different color.
