I was looking for a speaker for my Alexa Dot. I had few requirements1. Affordable (less than $40) 2. Outlet, no charging3. Additional port4. Decent Aesthetics What I wasn't looking for was Bose-quality sound that makes me feel like I'm in the front row of Boston pops. Overall, this speaker lives up to my expectations and isn't terrible to look at. If you have an Alexa Dot, you know that even as an alarm clock, it doesn't make a good sound. I was looking for a permanent and simple solution to this problem, so I needed an auxiliary input and a power cord. Since it was going to be something I would look at a lot, I wanted more than just a piece of plastic. As far as sound quality goes, it seems pretty decent for the price. The volume generated depends on the Alexa volume setting. This becomes an issue as Dot distorts the audio at maximum setting and does the same when using the AUX cable. This is not necessarily due to the speakers. In general this is a good product.
