Write speed is worse than any other brand of drive I've owned, 4.5MB/s (decent read speed at 35MB/s)
I was looking for a cheap drive and was left with speeds of 2.0 happy, but write speeds at 4.5MB/s, which is a lot worse than a cheap free drive. The read speed is a decent 35MB/s. This drive would be fine if you rarely write to it and use it mostly for reading - or if you don't care about write speeds. This is the last SanDisk drive I will be buying, I have 3 of them and they all suck at write speeds. .
