I don't often write reviews but this product is exceptionally well made. I chose this after looking at many other products. I've come to the conclusion that many handheld bidets are nothing more than converted sink sprayers. They are not designed for constant pressure, so you must turn off the water supply to the tank after each use or you risk a leak. This device is designed to work under pressure and although it can be turned off, it is only recommended to be used when away from home for an extended period of time. One complaint I've seen with other units is that the valve that comes with it has a hose that comes out of the fitting opposite the valve handle. This means that during installation you have to reach for the valve to shut off the water. This device has the valve and hose on the same side for easy access. Installation took less than 5 minutes. The spray head is small enough that you can wash the "desired area" without getting your whole butt wet. The jet intensity can be adjusted from a light jet to a powerful jet. While I wouldn't use a jet cleaner on myself, it comes in handy for bowl cleaning. The construction seems quite solid - all parts are made of brass with thick chrome plating. It looks like it will last for years. Finally, although I mounted the stick to the tank, it comes with anchors for mounting to the wall. I plan to put mine on the wall next to the toilet for easy access.
