First I tried to find something that would fix the hitch. Everything I found was invincible or very expensive. Also, a thief could just tie chains to his hitch and pull my trailer off, regardless of the security of the hitch. This little item solved it for me. It's durable and much safer for a very small investment. No one but the most notorious thief with plenty of time and tools will steal your trailer with it.
