Review on Home theater LG LHB655 by Micha Szymaski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

As long as everyone is happy. I have experience of communicating with two other home cinemas before it - LG (which is why I also took LG) and Philips shelf (which I am dissatisfied with due to freezes, an uncomfortable menu and the fact that the motherboard died without recovery exactly after 3 years of non-intensive use). I use about a month. Given that this is a 2022 model, i. E. not old, convenient functionality, good sound, and good value for money (as of October 16), I am quite ready to recommend this model to those who need to watch movies and listen to music in good quality without "special" studio and professional requirements for equipment. PS It seems that there is karaoke and Wi Fi, but I have not tried it.

Pros
  • 1. Very good sound for this price range. I met more expensive models with worse sound. The speaker material itself is quite interesting - it is plastic (except for the subwoofer - there is chipboard), but when you tap it with your finger, the sound is not like plastic, but booming, reminiscent of tapping on wood. Upholstered in fabric that softens the sound. The speaker is located in the middle of the upper part of the standing speakers and not in the center, but slightly to the side of the center channel speaker. At first I thought it was low (for standing speakers) and strange for a center channel. But when you turn it on, not only the speaker sounds, but the speaker itself somehow vibrates and the impression that the whole speaker sounds evenly. 2. Convenient, visual (you can change the view) menu, does not freeze when scrolling quickly. 3. Easily selects the desired track from a 2TB external drive, no problem selecting a song from a complex folder structure (one to another) - a feature that my previous theater could not handle. 4. Reads all popular file formats without problems. 5. Stable stands for standing speakers. 6. Friends with a Philips TV (leftover from a shelf theater of the same brand).
Cons
  • Strictly speaking, so far I have not found any serious shortcomings. 1. The wires connecting the front side channels could be longer - I have them along the edges of the wall in which the TV and the house stand. cinema, the distance is not more than one and a half meters from the cinema to the column. The length of the wires was barely enough to connect, not tight, of course, but back to back. 2. It is more difficult to remove dust from the black fabric that fits the speakers than it was with my previous speakers (plastic). But perhaps this is the price for a deeper sound. 3. Since the sound is quite voluminous, not a squeaker, it penetrates well to neighbors even at low volume, which limits use at night (well, only if through headphones).
