Negatives first. A straw consists of several parts that are pushed together. The top of the straw I received does not seal completely and is breathable. This causes me to get a lot of air every time I drink. I contacted the seller and although they responded quickly they did not send a replacement straw. It doesn't matter to those who don't plan on using a straw. You can absolutely use this item without a straw. But for those of you who don't want to hoist half a gallon of water over your head with every sip, this can be a hurdle. You can always take the risk of getting a working straw. But I would really like to have a straw that works. But then again, the bottle itself is really good. My favorite feature is that the mouth is wide enough that I can put my hand in to clean it. The lid cover is a nice feature to keep everything protected and hygienic. Until it flows Not all of the sayings on the bottle make sense, but I find this more interesting than anything else. I didn't purchase a bottle based on what was said on the site and didn't pay attention until I got the bottle. The handle on the lid helps me a lot when opening and closing the lid. This helps if your arms have limited strength or mobility. The only thing I don't like is the locking mechanism. I like that the bottle cap has a locking mechanism. But manipulating them is not the easiest thing in the world. If you don't have problems with your hands, this shouldn't be a problem and you probably won't even notice it. But it was a bit difficult for me to move the lock up or down. So I just leave it in the unlocked position and it works for me. Then it's easy to press the button to open the lid. I also like that when you press the button to open the lid, the lid opens on its own just far enough to drink. This is a good feature. It allows you to work with one hand. And if you have a working straw, you don't even have to pick it up.
