My impressions of using this poppy for programming. Before that, I worked and continue to work on HP laptops with Ubuntu. On a poppy, a terribly awkward awkward keyboard. The distance between the keys is designed for a person with a huge claw, not for the fingers. Such a huge touchpad is also not needed by programmers. It interferes with the setting of hands when printing and it is unlikely that you will draw on it. A panel with pictures instead of keys is not applicable for programming, where a large number of keyboard shortcuts and touch typing are usually used. In addition, it is easy to accidentally hit this panel and launch a third-party application during development. Another of the minuses, the laptop heats up very much on not the most difficult tasks, this is not expected from the “premium” segment of equipment. The OS is insanely uncomfortable after modern Ubuntu and feels outdated. Worked a little on a poppy about 10 years ago. A strong feeling that nothing has changed. It's as if I left Windows on the XP version after years and returned, and there only the resolution of the icons changed. I am the owner of the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, I am familiar with the software, there are paid subscriptions, but from a laptop I need a completely different freedom of action and the level of software. No usb, microsd interfaces, sorry Steve and Tim, I'm not ready for 250k tech. think not about how it is more convenient and faster for me to do my job, but about your problems and the problems of copyright holders. In a word, perhaps a great laptop for a designer, manager or your mother, great for sitting at meetings “like everyone else with a poppy” or having a coffee and sitting with an apple laptop in a cafe, “radiating success”, but not for programming . I received the laptop for use, a new one and I am very pleased that I did not buy _this_ for my money at the time, although I was going to.
