These are really nice high waist workout shorts. But they don't hold you too tight. I received my normal size and it fits perfectly, but if you're hesitating between the two, be sure to choose the larger one. The length is great. I always feel like 3 inches is too short especially if you are tall that the extra inches make them short and sexy but coated. They are very elastic, but do not shine through.
