DO NOT BUY. At first I wasn't sure about this iron. Very easy. Nice little mini size. Here the pluses end. I was concerned that the molded plastic water tank was so close to the electrical parts, mainly the lightbulb. But I decided to try. It heats up very quickly, but the power indicator goes off once it reaches temperature. It's pretty confusing and the dial can be in the off position with no light on, but still get dangerously hot. This is where it gets tragic. I put the iron upright on the table - the normal position for an unused iron. WATER BEGINS TO LEAK FROM THE VOLTAGE SWITCH. NOT GOOD. Water and exposed electrical switches don't mix and I'm afraid it can be EXTREMELY dangerous. I do NOT recommend this product. It's been a long, endless search for a decent MINI steam iron and it looks like I'm on the hunt again.
