Light years better than cheaper competitors

This product does what it says on the tin: an integrated cable for your Apple friends and a powerful USB port for Android devices. At first I thought about buying another Anker product with 2 USB ports for my Android products, but if you have a really old device with only a 12V outlet and few USB ports, you probably don't need one 2 USB ports for Android by Anker. Let's face it, at least half the time you have an Apple friend or family member with you. I have other 12v outlets that I use in my car for other devices (GPS, radar detectors, etc.). But if you've bought a car with all those extra 12V ports and USB sockets in the past few years, you can live with 1 USB cable/port on this anchor as an Android user. And you'll still be using the Apple cable, trust me. The loading time of this product is excellent. That's at least double, if not triple, what I got from some individual USB ports. The cheaper 12v USB port adapter wasn't as fast either and as it turned out it broke and also shorted out my 12v in my new car (the dealer had to replace the fuse). A few friends with Apple phones are getting close to 2% per minute while charging the battery, which is fantastic. 1% is considered quite good, and I've had chargers with a USB port that were much smaller. Trust me, spend the extra $$$ on something that will last you for years like this anchor. In terms of durability and performance, it's worth spending the extra $15 on cheaper 12V adapters with USB ports. I learned the hard way (okay, it wasn't that hard, but it was annoying to travel with a broken cigarette lighter and then take it to the dealer to have it fixed). My only annoyance would be having them include an Android USB cable, which maximizes Anker charging for Android products, but any old plain micro HDMI USB cable will do, so it's no big deal.
