Review on 🔌 Club3D CAC-2068 DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.4/Hbr3 Cable - VESA Certified, 8K 60Hz, 2M/6.56ft, Black by Amrozi Goodall

1m cable NOT Vesa certified. I checked the DisplayPort website and the 1 meter version isn't listed there and the packaging I received didn't match the pictures on the shop page showing the certification. Regardless, this is a good DP 1.4 cable. For some reason he is very fat. The thickest cable I've ever seen. I'm not sure if it's due to 1.4 or something else. But otherwise it's nicely designed. Also, it doesn't wake my display from sleep. I don't know if it's the cable, but the DP/mDP cable I have also wakes up the display 100%, this one doesn't, so it doesn't. Pros:+ Works great with DP 1.2 4K 60Hz monitor connected to eGPU, macOS+ Looks great+ Part of connector fits fully into connector and doesn't protrude like other DP+ cables It's DP 1.4 Cons:- False advertising Vesa certification for 1m Length- Monitor won't wake up from sleep (not sure if the cable is to blame) Overall I think this is a good cable if you need 1.4. But if you only want 1.2 it might be worth getting a cable from Accell as I have no trouble sleeping with their cables.
