Don't understand receiver not working

I got this for my Jeep Grand Cherokee and installed it quickly, it wasn't difficult and the light came on and turned blue 🔵 and didn't change color that I tried everything to get it working, I thought it was a controller but it isn't. I had LED lights at home with the same controller for my TV so I tried it and the controller worked so I figured it was a rain controller and put it next to the bulb and nothing, the receiver didn't work and the bulbs were ' It's not the same color I paid for so I'll try again and re-order. Let's see if this product pays for itself
