I had a very similar holster and bought it thinking it was the same. There was no identifying name on my old holster so I didn't know what the brand was and just went by looks. When I opened it up, I liked the texture of the new one better. When I took my phone out of the old case and put it in the new one, I noticed that the new phone was "upside down" compared to the old one. That means the old USB port was on the bottom of the holster when it was attached to a belt. The new one is up. So when connecting to a belt, the old holster had to be inserted from the bottom up. On a new holster you slide from top to bottom. There's also a curved surface at the bottom that wraps around the "top" of the downward-facing phone. It's a small difference that takes some getting used to, but I think I like it better so far.
