This item comes with brackets already on the shelves, so you'll need to pull them out to drill the brackets into the walls and install the shelves. However, none of the 6 brackets moved like they were glued to the shelves or anything. I looked at the reviews and no one else mentioned any staple removal issues. I tried three times to contact the seller to ask how I could remove the braces (I've tried everything: using a heat gun to remove the glue, pliers to get a better grip, threading the rope behind the braces to... to get a better grip - nothing worked, none of 6 won't move). I have never heard from the seller. My item is defective and no one has contacted me with advice on how to remove the brackets or offered to send in shelves that actually work. It's been weeks and I just wish my shelves were on the wall and not on the floor.
