Although so far, I've only performed the 'water test' as outlined in the user manual (which has been updated to call it such, by the way!,) I feel confident in leaving a 5-star review. This arrived quickly and in perfect condition, and the manufacturer's packaging is so well-produced that I really don't imagine it could be damaged in transit without undergoing a major accident (such as the external box being crushed by something of significant weight.) I say this because several reviewers report receiving dented IPs, and I myself was worried about it. But I think perhaps the manufacturer has since upgraded the packaging, as the IP itself is surrounded by a thick cardboard mold (in lieu of Styrofoam,) totally filling the box to prevent wiggle-room, and the box itself comes with thick shrink wrap, which prevents it from accidentally opening somehow during the fulfillment/shipping process.Even though I've only 'cooked' water so far, the water test itself confirms that the controls, pressure seal/release functions, and heating elements are all fully-functional, so my IP will be ready to take on all the 'someday.' recipes as soon as I am. Someday.
