As other reviewers have noted the cable came without a cable. What was there were the +/- ends under the slide cover. so i think it could be worse. The battery I was planning to use it with came with a car charger. As I wasn't planning on using this in my car I took the cable, cut off one end, removed the +/- wires and screwed them onto the solar panel poles. pretty trivial job, and hey! It works out! In the fall at 1 p.m. in central Wisconsin (definitely weaker than noon in June) it produced 10 W of charging power (depending on the charged battery). I didn't think it was bad for the low angle of the sun and the claimed 20 watt max output. While the lack of any type of cable (let alone instructions) was disappointing, overall build quality seems very good, with a solid and durable metal back panel. - the obvious panels on the front and it definitely produces juice. I hope this will support our campaigns for many years to come. At a fairly low price, I can easily recommend this IF you are ok with connecting yourself.
