We highly recommend trying this camera if you are looking for a camera with great image quality, easy setup, great software and the ability to take your photos seen feeding 24/7 with no breaks on site. It is very easy to set up with the help of their quick guide. You do NOT need to log in or subscribe to anything. The picture is wide-angled, very clear and stable. The video stream can be viewed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is uninterrupted. I particularly like the software that comes with the camera. It's well-written, feature-packed, and you won't find anything better. It is better than the open source iSpy software in my opinion. You can use it to adjust camera settings (brightness, saturation, contrast, etc.) as well as the bandwidth of the two streams provided. I'm using a camera on a LAN so I set the full resolution to 4MP. Wi-Fi connectivity is excellent thanks to two vertical antennas. This allows the camera and your router to optimize the signal with beamforming, giving the camera a stronger signal than usual. IP cameras with hidden antennas or just an external antenna perform poorly. (TIP: If you have a really weak Wi-Fi signal, then lower the frame rate, not the resolution. 30 fps for surveillance isn't really necessary for you. 10-12 fps is fine for me.) Night vision works well. As with most IP cameras, the IR beam is a spot, so the lighting is best in the center of the image. I've noticed that this camera is more sensitive than most, even with the IR light turned off. So when used at night with the IR mode set to Auto, the overall image quality is more than acceptable. As in any other case, there is always something to complain about. Here is my dissatisfaction. Why would you put black wires on a white camera? The cable on the camera is black, the brick wall and its cable are black, and the extension cable you get for power (a very nice touch, btw) is black. Another problem is that the system forgets the WiFi password of the router that you may have connected to before. Is it a big deal? Of course not. I would say that in a short period of time I tested two other IP cameras on Revain. One came with a micro CD and no instructions. I couldn't find a CD slot on my Android so I sent it back. Stay away from ANY camera that comes with a CD. The second camera advertised a "cloud" connection but didn't mention that you can't connect it locally without using the cloud. So all your data will be sent to California (or is it China?) even if your camera is 20 feet away. It also turns off as a 'feature' every 10-20 minutes because it assumes you're dumb enough to watch live video over your cellular connection, which will instantly eat up your data limit.
