Favorite Fire Engine

I think I looked at a dozen different fire engines online and at toy stores before finally settling on this brother model. First, let's answer the question that worries every parent, does this fire truck fit in your kid's "boys" cockpit? And yes. Within five minutes my little one bought one of his Fisher Price Little People and it fit in perfectly (he also used some Playmobil stockings and others). His older sister added some fairies and Playmobil figures. The doors are easy to open and close with little fingers, nothing snaps or pinches. I've seen many other leading brand trucks that didn't have enough room for little fingers to get into the driver's area and/or doors that were tightly closed. I guess that keeps them from breaking, but I don't know a single kid who wouldn't try sticking a small toy out the window to pretend someone is driving. This fire engine does it perfectly; It's really amazing how many other models I've seen in the store that haven't opened. Brother makes it possible. Additional key features: A cool extra-long telescopic ladder with a bucket on top (the bucket is half-open so many men and/or different sized items can fit in without clogging it); Length of hose that wraps around neatly (and apparently a working water pump, but we haven't used it yet); many work/opening compartments and storage options; Light and sound are picked up from the top of the booth; High quality plastic and very durable. It's a bit short, as there's another bigger brother fire engine, but it still has the satisfying feel of a big toy and also fits on a regular shelf or in a toy box. ! This was our first brother toy and we are very happy with it.
