I'm currently using it with 4GB DDR4 RAM and a 500GB hard drive. I use it to run PFsense and it works phenomenally. It uses Intel network cards, so there are no stability issues. Make sure to update the BIOS and disable serial ports before booting from USB to install PFsense. It's also quite small so it doesn't take up much space.
