I am very glad I ordered these standoffs to replace the ones that came with my Samsung M.2 SSD motherboard. When idling and under heavy loads, the pads reduced temperatures by 5 degrees Celsius on each M.2 SSD. Definitely worth it. They are very easy to install, just remove the plastic trim on each side of the trim.
