Didn't work for my needs, streamed video but no audio to TV via HDMI adapter

PAL/NTSC" to try and connect a portable DVD player (AV out only). to connect the TV. The video actually streamed to the TV screen, but the audio continued to play only from the DVD player. The video colors on the TV were slightly darker/darker than on a DVD player, but it worked. Since the DVD player has a rather low volume, I decided to return it.The hassle of having so many cables, having to plug it into a USB port for power, and now having to plug in external speakers too, because it's done not worth it to watch it on a big tv myself.
