Review on 8oz Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP Leather Conditioner - Natural Oil Beeswax Formula by Joe Bottomkent

I had never heard of this product until I saw Pat Puckett's video of him using it on his saddles. If it's good enough for him, I'll at least try. I used to use mink oil for skin care but found it difficult to apply and the scent wasn't my favorite. This product decomposes very quickly. solid, semi-solid, almost liquid very quickly. I applied it to my new hiking saddle which was completely dry and the leather is very supple now. I love how it darkens my rough saddle, if you don't like it don't use it. Water and sweat are leather's enemies, and a trail saddle will experience both if you ride at all. i like oils for very dry skin but always ends up tipping over the bottle or somehow spilling/wasting the oil. No problem with this product. It's reliable until you work with it. I think this has a lot of potential for horse-crazy kids and frugal parents. Protect a good investment in leather and avoid product waste. This is now my favorite skin conditioner. Soon I'll be walking on wet grass to re-waterproof my boots. I received my first jar without a lid. I asked for an exchange and Revain sent a replacement. Will buy again.
