I use a cam caddy for my DSLR to film skateboarding. I used to have an opteka x grip and didn't like that it wasn't very stable and that frames always wobbled, it had cheap plastic and foam that got rough when hands sweat. The Cam Caddy, on the other hand, is very strong, very stable (even more stable with the lockout kit) and has a great design with other features like accessory wedges that can be used to mount lights, microphones, etc. Priced as an x-handle, it definitely is the best choice. Customer service is also excellent. I was unable to remove the screw on two of my accessory shoes and ended up having to remove the Allen screws. I contacted them straight away and informed them they answered my email within an hour and already sent me 2 more and I didn't even have to pay! (I found out later that I took them off because I was putting them on, not loosening them, haha). New accessory shoes arrived at my house 2 days after I emailed them. I have never had such great customer service. 5 stars for that. I would highly recommend the Cam Caddy to anyone with any type of camera looking to shoot sports or if you just need a good stabilizer then go for the Cam Caddy. I guarantee you will be happy with this purchase.
