I bought my Nintendo Switch used (never again!) from Gamestop for my birthday a few years ago. After a while it started to overheat, but only when docking. After much research I have found this to be a serious issue with this console. I searched the internet and YouTube for solutions such as taking it out of the entertainment center and putting it on the floor for better ventilation. Neither these nor other solutions helped. The only thing that worked was putting the fan we use to keep our dog cool behind the dock when we're playing on the TV. This started the great search on YouTube for the best fan for the switch dock. The short answer is they are all OFF! Confused and with no hope of returning my dog's night fan in the middle of 'COVID Summer 2020' I stumbled across this gem and knew I had to try something. Fortunately, it worked right out of the box. No fiddling with speed settings or anything like that. My title sums it up. IT WORKS!
