There was an experience of using ASUS, it was more powerful, but it was very inconvenient and unpleasant to use it. For me, a laptop is more like a case, a keyboard, a screen. The filling is much less important, because. almost any modern laptop will cope with my tasks with a bang. Now specifically about this device. It's still the same Air, with the same feel. Without the terrible touchbar on the pro. The keyboard is something between the old ones and what is now being put on the pro. In terms of performance - I bought a model with i3 - this is more than enough for surfing, a terminal, writing texts, and so on. I really like this notebook, more than suitable for my purposes. Nevertheless, this is more of an additional device, it is probably not very suitable for the role of the main device for work, and in this case it is better to think about the MacBook Pro.
