I wanted a handheld mic for work but our budget isn't the biggest and there is nothing left to produce so I bought my own. This is a simpler model without volume controls and a panic button. These are nice features, but not an extra $20-$60. Haven't used it in heavy rain yet (or even in our 7 months of constant drizzle in Western Australia) but I don't plan on getting it wet. To edit. IP55 is good for everything except total dust storm blackout and most rain (water jet 6.3mm from nozzle but I don't see standard pressure, some people call it low pressure water jets).
