Review on Pentek FloPlus 10BB Activated Carbon Filter Cartridge by Jennifer Anderson

We use this under the sink in a standard 10" cabinet where it filters 100% of the cold water coming through the main kitchen faucet. With almost no loss of water pressure, we can now quickly and easily fill a glass of water or a coffee pot in the sink.After reading many specifications, it turned out that this is the filter that gives us the best water quality with the lowest pressure drop. We had after about 5 Weeks of heavy use, no problems with clogging or loss of performance Our city tap water does not have large deposits, iron deposits etc., they treat the water with chlorine and chloramine and this filter was effective in removing odor and taste. Update: In our home, these filters work well for about 3 months before their chlorine/chloramine reduction efficiency begins to decline. At this point I usually smell that the water is a little out. This is probably because I am using them in a high flow application (main kitchen faucet). Even with a change interval of 3 months, I find these filters to be good value for money.
