I like the size of this ladder, however it is not in anyway "premium” quality. I have shards of splintered wood everywhere. My hands are black, from the stain used. There is no clear coat as described. Some of the holes were WAY too big for the screws (there are two rungs with only one screw on one side as a result). All but one of the protective pads are missing. When placed up against the wall, if you put one side flush, the other side doesn’t even touch the wall (it is not my assembly - the angles are cut wrong or something).Show a picture to a local carpenter to build you one. Or if you must order, perhaps find a highly reviewed craftsman on Etsy. That is what I will do next time. For the meantime, I will have to make this one work, as it is way too much frustration to disassemble and return.
