Well, that's almost the coolest thing in the world. I had no idea they existed but just a few days ago I was complaining to my wife that in 35 years we have NEVER had one of those butane torches that worked with plugs and would throw tantrums when they didn't at critical moments lit . I stumbled upon this product the next day and ordered it. I only received it today so I can't comment on the overall durability or battery life but I can say it's great! It will be worth a hundred times its price compared to cheaper lighters. He lit the wicks of my candle in about a second! It's great for lighting stoves, lanterns, etc. It might not work for something that requires a long flame, so it's probably great for BBQ briquettes that have been coated with a light liquid, but might not be for self-ignition. Lighting? I am not sure. All I know is it's super cool and if you've ever been let down by those stupid dollar lighters you need this! Unlike a stun gun, it is almost silent. Our dog could hear it and worry about it but didn't go mad like she did when she heard those stun guns! 5+ stars so far!
