I gave 5 stars because this set is value for money. But it's important to understand what he can't do if you want to be happy. If your goal is to thread soft materials like brass or 6061 aluminum etc. then this set is a good choice and will serve you well. If you want to cut mild steel, you can do it if you are really patient and diligent about the process (turn, retract, turn, retract, turn away, oil cut, etc.). If you are interested in high carbon steels, hetero-alloy steels or exotic steels like titanium, this set is not what you need. Two other things: 1) The included wrench is barely enough for the smallest taps in the set and you need to be extra careful and patient to avoid stripping and rounding the shanks on these taps. 2) Faucets are definitely through taps, not plugs. If you want to tap a blind hole, you will need to drill a little deeper to thread the full width to the desired recess.
