Great valve! I have retrofitted all my hydration bladders with this valve. Unlike a bite valve, this beauty actually allows for a decent amount of water. In addition, it is easy to clean and very durable. The only drawback is the annoying shrink film on the new valve. Once you get out of the ER and psychiatric hospital with the valve in place, you'll be fine. Extra tip: If the hose fitting seems too big for you, boil a coffee cup of water in the microwave and then insert the end of the hose. Squirt into the cup for a few minutes. After that you can put it on the fitting. Once the hose has cooled you will have a perfect airtight seal.
