Very good sport product

Has good flow and doesn't have to work that hard to get water. I highly recommend this product. Will buy more for every hydration carrier I buy.

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

I like it a lot more than the bite valve I had.

My drinking source came with this valve. I like it a lot more than the bite valve I had on my old camel. Unfortunately the valve on my IBA got caught and lost during training so I had to order a replacement.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Fits

Effortless drinking

Got this to replace my lost scroll valve. The storm valve is much better. You have to siphon the water a little, but not as much as through a scroll valve. You can simply push and pull the valve to open and close it. You can also rotate it when it's closed to lock it so it doesn't accidentally open.

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • boring packaging

good quality product; Beware of freezing

I like the bite guard and locking mechanism. The modularity of the part also helps in certain situations. For example, last weekend I ran in 17 degrees. The valve froze almost immediately and would not "unlock" and obviously no water was flowing through. But I could take the value, put it between the jacket and shirt for a few minutes and thaw. Then I put it back on, wiggled the hose a bit and was able to drink again. From then on, I just carried the valve in my pocket when I wasn't drinkingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Hard to say

Actually allows you to get a decent sip of water!

Great valve! I have retrofitted all my hydration bladders with this valve. Unlike a bite valve, this beauty actually allows for a decent amount of water. In addition, it is easy to clean and very durable. The only drawback is the annoying shrink film on the new valve. Once you get out of the ER and psychiatric hospital with the valve in place, you'll be fine. Extra tip: If the hose fitting seems too big for you, boil a coffee cup of water in the microwave and then insert the end of the hoseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
