Review on GROHE 45882000 Ceramic Cartridge - No Finish by Chad Sornsin

The description was correct as in my case it was a Grohe Talia model hot water valve. The fit was perfect. But my 18 year old cartridge had to be pulled out of the sink by Valve to be replaced. In trying to change, he didn't tear himself away. and at least brass frozen to brass. I had to go to the work table and heat it with a burner for about 20 seconds, after which it came off. I waited for the valve to cool and installed the cartridge. So it took me 2 hours for a job that was supposed to take half an hour and I have some experience with plumbing. So if you can't change in the sink, be prepared and remove the valve from the sink and push it out from under the vanity.
