Hubs cannot stay upright in the shower. Not because of health issues or age, but because the teenager in our family uses an awful lot of shampoo/conditioner/body soap every time he takes a shower, leaving a soapy, slippery film in the tub. Khabs has slipped twice while getting out of the tub. We tried using bathmats, which worked for about a month, but apart from just being uncomfortable on the bottom, they moved when you stepped on them, which was another slip hazard. I like her. It is highly recommended that you follow the manufacturer's instructions and clean the bottom of the tub with an alcohol based cleaner (I used Windex) and ensure the surface is completely dry. Pros: ** Inexpensive compared to other products listed by Revain ** Easy to install/apply ** You clearly can't see them on the bottom of the tub (they don't stand out) Cons: ** Application instructions were not provided I'm glad that I took 10 seconds to read the full description otherwise I would not have been aware of the alcohol based cleaner. ** If using a stencil, or even just for gaps, it is recommended that you spread it before removing the backing. Because as soon as they become one, you quickly lose sight of them.
