I wanted a light on the helmet for several reasons; I think higher position is better, especially over cars and less likely to forget to turn off. The small size and weight are perfect for a helmet mount, although I didn't use the included mounts. I just used strong velcro to attach it to the helmet. This even allows you to reduce the profile. The 100 lumen front LED is bright enough. Two rear red LEDs, even more. They are visible in daylight, but not for long. They certainly don't draw much attention. I would give 5 stars if the rear LEDs were brighter.
