I bought this set exclusively for small plants. I didn't use flowers. I added them to my tank today and my Betta just loves them. I grouped a few of them together for a little "nest" for him. He was already settled, hiding between them and resting. It's amazing to see him enjoying them and they look great in an aquarium! I soaked them for about 5 hours before putting them in the aquarium and rinsed them well. So far this has not had any negative impact on betta or water quality.
