I'm very glad I found these specifically for underground housing and not some of the more expensive high voltage materials. That being said, the type of glitch you're fixing can make installation quite difficult. This is because there needs to be some slack in the pipe, 3 inches at each end of the gap, to allow the wire nut to be attached and inserted into the pipe. Because the fence is buried, getting that slack can be difficult. Luckily my rig was about to turn so I was able to dig a line and change the turning radius to get the sag I needed. for example straight. So the product works fine if you can install it, but different design, such as a butt joint would be much more practical.
