This was a 20 year old Broan bathroom extractor fan, its commissioning and overhaul took a long time out at full speed once the plastic cover was removed removing one screw allowed me to easily remove the fan assembly (with lots of dust falling on the floor!) everything fitted perfectly and the rotation was counter clockwise, looking at the shaft - same as the first (important, otherwise it won't work) blade on the shaft, being careful to line up the flat side of the shaft, I measured the noise level by using the old Fans at full speed compared to the new and new a little louder (2.5dBm) but I put that down to possibly more airflow after dusting off everything I could on my time instruction so you can make sure these parts will fit yours before ordering.
