I like how compact this drill is, it's very well balanced and feels good in the hand. It's not a bad drill, but it's not the best investment either. If you just want it for home projects that's great, but if you're looking for a drill for construction or contract work I'd go with the best brand. I loved the drill and loved the word, but its brushless motor failed before I owned it within a year. I've had mine for almost 9 months. I bought it as a makeshift drill and really fell in love with its power and compactness and run time. It is impressive. With a 3Ah battery I could run this drill every day for a week on the same 2 bar charge. This is a great tool but at a great price. When you need durability for heavier workloads, look no further than a Dewalt rock drill bit or a Bosch rock drill bit. You can find them at the same or lower price. If you're not here, check eBay or other sources. I bought my Bosch tool for less than half the retail price and cheaper than my Makita. I still use my Makita Impact but mostly for home projects and such.
