It's a fantastic idea but the velcro on the fingertips stays in place on the wrist, not the palm. This makes it very difficult to get your hands deep enough into the mittens to even get a firm grip on the cart, let alone keep it warm. If you throw hand warmers in, you're either afraid they'll fall out and get lost, or you're so deep that you can't reach them with your hands. Warmer pockets on the palms *can* solve this problem, but I don't see how they'll be as warm on your hands as if you're gripping a heating pad right in the mitten. This should be a very quick way to warm up your hands after a hit that also ended up on the cart handle where your hands should be, but they're not perfect.
