My surgeon directed me to purchase THIS dressing prior to my abdominal hernia repair. I checked and the large size is the largest size Futuro makes. That's why I bought it. I paid extra for shipping one day and received it as promised. Unfortunately it was MUCH small and my waist size is 36. The nurse at the surgery center told me that if I wear it I could cause a lot of damage to the surgical wound. She provided me with another brand that was in stock at the center. However, I was charged mega bucks for this. The quality of the Futuro Abdomen Binder seems to be there, but if you have an above average waist measurement (33-34) the large one will be too tight for you. I doubt I can return it as the box was flattened during shipping and I opened the plastic wrap it came in so buying this item with a shipping tag was a $24 mistake.
