I bought this because the Sony stereo I've had for about 20 years finally broke and this stereo would have blown this one up. They don't make things the way they use them. In my opinion the price is too high for what you get. It seems to work fine, I think I'll have to get other speakers. I used CD and AUX for my MP3, no problem.
